Our philosophy is that optimal health and performance can be attained through the proper balance of exercise, nutrition, and education. Our goal is to educate our patients as well as treat them. We know that healthcare is not about having an insurance and not being able to get access to your primary care doctor whenever you need it. It's about having care at the tip of your fingers every day.
Our mission is to help our patients get the healthcare they deserve, providing ACCESS and COMFORT in a convenient and affordable way.
We aim to educate our patients, provide reassurance and tools to manage some minor conditions without leaving home or work. We also offer necessary comprehensive acute and chronic care. We understand that many people have a busy schedule, so we created a soothing environment and a scheduling system that never keeps them waiting long.

Internal Medicine & Obesity Medicine
Iren Ortiz, MD FACP
Dr. Ortiz obtained her undergraduate training at Universidad Católica de Puerto Rico where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in General Sciences, a minor in Biology and elective courses in business. Was awarded with MD degree in May 2014 from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine- Puerto Rico and finally graduated from her residency training in Internal Medicine in June 2017 from Hospital San Lucas- Ponce. Currently she is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine, awarded the ACP fellowship in 2020 and has license to practice in both Florida and Puerto Rico. She also works as a Hospitalist in UF Health North-Jacksonville and has been complemented on her excellent HCAPS. Dr. Ortiz has a special interest for breastfeeding, fitness, nutrition, holistic medicine, regenerative medicine and Obesity Medicine. As an advocate of patient care, she has collaborated in many quality improvement committees, scientific meetings and projects. During her spare time, she enjoys doing crossfit and spending time with her loved ones.
Jose Bird, MD
Dr. Bird obtained his undergraduate training at Universidad del Sagrado Corazón de Puerto Rico where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biology, a minor in Pre- Med. Was awarded with MD degree in May 2010 from Univesidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) Dominican Republic and finally graduated from his residency training in Internal Medicine in June 2019 from Hospital San Lucas- Ponce. Currently he is licensed to practice in both Florida and Puerto Rico. He also works as a Hospitalist in UF Health North-Jacksonville and has been complemented on his excellent bed side manners and HCAPS. He currently has a special interest in the prevention and early detection of diseases using health promotion, through patient education based on comprehensive attention to all conditions. Focused on improving medical services and the well-being of his patients using innovative tools that allow greater accessibility of health services, as well as greater affordability of these.
